  This three story two family home is located in Connecticut. 
The Owners wanted a design to eliminate an underutilized open second story porch and the appearance of the dual family entrance.  The built solution enclosed the porch and adds a gabled front porch entry.

This Atlanta Residence went from 1200sf to 2400sf making a 2.5 | 2.5 into a 4 | 3.5.  Sustainable design practices include the following: dual flush toilets, Icynene spray foam insulation, hardwood floors and granite from local sources, low site impaction, retention of existing hardwood trees.
